Angel Readings
Below is a description of how Angel Readings are described and understood by Lumeria: Healing, Counseling and WellnessCenter. While it is not necessary for you to understand spirituality in exactly the same way we do, we feel it is helpful for you to a have a sense of where we are coming from in this work. Although there are spiritual beliefs that are widely shared, such as a belief in God and a belief in angels, there are also many differences in beliefs among people and groups. At the same time, even people with the same religious or spiritual affiliations, as well as those with no affiliation, are bound to have individual differences in their own belief systems. We have also found that for many people their beliefs and understanding of their beliefs may change, expand or deepen over time. The below is a simple explanation of the perspective of this center.
Each person has at least one guardian angel and personal guides to assist them in their lives, watch over them and bring them comfort and inspiration as well as to assist in making life decisions. In addition, everyone also has access to the Archangels and the Ascended Masters and other beings of light that are working to assist humanity individually and collectively. Tapping into this resource can provide information, guidance, comfort, strength and inspiration in all aspects of our lives. Angel Readings may access the guidance of your guardian angels, your soul, your spirit guides and teachers, the Archangels, and the Ascended Masters.
These sessions are a three way conversation between you and me, and your personal helpers. The word Angel literally means Messenger of God. Your guides and angels are offering guidance to you on a daily basis. Everyone receives messages from their guides and angels. Sometimes we receive this guidance and run with it. Sometimes we don’t realize that it was guidance, and not just a random thought or feeling until later. Sometimes it may be difficult for us to get quiet enough to hear our guidance or believe that we can. Sometimes we may ignore our guidance because we don’t trust our selves or because we consciously or unconsciously fear what we might have to change or acknowledge. (For example your spiritual guidance may be prompting you to move in a new direction but your current self concept may not feel up to the challenge.)
During Angel Readings, information, impressions, and questions are brought through from your angels and guides. The focus of these Angel Readings is on your essence, gifts, lessons, and areas of suggested growth or focus. These Angel Readings may also focus on helping you to become clearer about how you receive your own guidance, when and how you miss or discount your own guidance and how to develop conscious communication with your angels, guides, and loved ones in spirit. While some information may also be presented about new energies, circumstances or probable life directions coming in, the primary focus of these sessions is on the above rather than on predictions.
It is intended that all of us, you, me and your angels and guides, will do our best and work in unison to bring you information and insight that will be beneficial to you. Nonetheless, it is important to always use your own best judgment about the information received and how to proceed. These sessions often offer a fresh or deeper perspective on current issues, they may also affirm certain promptings you have received previously, or help to encourage you to move forward in a positive direction. However, you are the ultimate human authority in your own life and as such must always use your own best judgment about what it best for you. These reading are not intended to be a replacement for medical care or mental health treatment.
It may be helpful to know that although there is often overlap in the information and impressions offered by different intuitive readers, there will also be differences. For example some may be especially good with an area known as medical intuition, others with reading the Akashic Records and providing information about how past life experiences are influencing this life and so forth. As stated earlier my area of primary focus is on your essence, gifts, and areas of growth, including activities and habits that your angels and guides would encourage you to develop.
